why study with m.e.

My love for mathematics began from a very young age and continued to grow throughout my academic life. I enjoyed the subject so much that I went on to study Mathematics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, deepening my understanding of the subject and developing an appreciation for the logical thinking and problem-solving skills it nurtures.


Throughout my career, I have worked with students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, supporting them to meet—and often exceed—their target grades. Whether a student is struggling with confidence, looking to close gaps in their understanding or aiming for the highest grades, my goal is always the same: to help them develop a positive relationship with maths and believe that the sky is the limit in terms of the progress they can make.

Study with M.E. is a play on words. Students are invited to "study with me", while the initials M.E. also stand for Mandy Edusei. The name reflects my belief that effective tuition is built on strong relationships, personalised support and helping every student feel confident in their ability to succeed. 


Choosing Study with M.E. will help students to benefit from:

  • I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
  • Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. I break complex concepts down into clear, manageable steps, helping students develop both the understanding and confidence needed to tackle maths independently.
  • While academic progress is important, I believe the greatest transformation often comes when a student begins to believe in their own ability. My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to foster confidence, curiosity and a genuine appreciation for maths.
